Ariel Atom 500 speedster to hit the road in the future


Ariel has reveled more technical information on its upcoming beauty christened the Atom 500. Pleasant to the eye, this beautifully designed speedster is a two seater is expected to produce unbelievable 1000 horsepower per one ton. This high performance super car features a 2, 4 liter V8 engine from RS Performance. 

Its top output of 500 horsepower can be obtained at 10 000 revolutions per minute which seems to be impossible while top torque amounts to 300 pound feet at 8 500 revolutions per minute. This striking super car has an engine connected to a six speed Sadev gear box along with smart paddle gears changing capabilities. 

The Atom 500 super car is made of carbon fiber panels as well as fiber aero foils. This amazing speedster also boasts a fitted function steering wheel as well as Dymag magnesium wheels. Another important feature is its Alcon four pot brake calipers, traction control and chrome-moly aerofoil wishbones. 

Its perfect bodywork is really impressive while still making it a light weight speedster. The Atom 500 super car will be constructed in limited units with only 25 cars being scheduled for production in Somerset at its up to date Ariel factory.

There is not yet any information about how much it is going to cost but taking into consideration its engine costing 0 000 low prices can not be expected. This stylish super car can be safely used in a Formula one competition, no doubts. Its 2.4-liter V8 engine has 5-valve cylinder-heads as well as high tech supercharger. 

The V8 powered Atom 500 is an extremely high speed super car, no matter you are going to drive it on track or outside of it. The Atom 500 does not look like a regular car you can meet in a road, but it can have a trendsetting influence on a new generation super cars. The Atom 500 is expected to achieve 100 miles per hour for less than 7 seconds which is better than its previous counterpart the Atom 300. We’ll find it out.
