EVGA GeForce GTX 285 now available for Mac Pros


EVGA has announced that its NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 Mac Edition graphics card is now available for Mac Pro users looking for aggravated graphics performances. GTX 285 features 240 second-gen NVIDIA Unified Architecture processing cores running at 648MHz. Amazingly, those cores uses 2.5 GHz 1GB of DDR3 RAM supported by PCI-E 2.0 16x slot.

Mac Pro users are advised that this card will use two slots if you’re not using it in PCI Express Slot 1 and two auxiliary power connections which are included in the box.

"With the EVGA GTX 285 now available for the Mac Pro, consumers can take advantage of our incredible GeForce and CUDA technologies running natively in Mac OS X or in Microsoft Windows under BootCamp," said Ujesh Desai, general manager of GeForce GPU business at NVIDIA, in a statement.

The GTX 285 Mac Edition is available online from the Apple Store or directly from EVGA now for $450.
